A Message from the Year 5 and Year 6 Phase Leader

Year 6 is a pivotal year, and our goal is to make it both rewarding and memorable. While we prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school and the challenges of SATs, we also ensure that learning remains engaging and inspiring. Our curriculum combines academic rigour with creativity, offering opportunities in music, sports, and cultural experiences that enrich pupils’ lives.

This year, pupils will take part in residential trips, collaborative projects, and leadership roles that help them develop confidence and independence. We want every child to leave Year 6 not only with strong academic foundations but also with the skills and character to thrive in the next stage of their education. Together with families, we will make this final year in primary school a time of achievement, celebration, and lasting memories.
